Training: Team

E-mail Print PDF

As one of the largest branch-level programmes of EWB-UK, we have a dedicated team here in Cambridge to organise and run all of our courses, talks series, trips and workshops. We are also supported by the EWB-UK Training Manager, Ray Gorman.

Seb Palmer is the EWB-Cambridge Training Coordinator. He is a 4th-year Civil Engineer at Selwyn College. In this role he oversees all of the Branch's training activities, represents the team on a national level in the EWB-UK Training Team, and is particularly keen on developing the team's admin and record-keeping systems in order to expand its capacity despite the inevitably high staff turnover in a student organisation. He first got involved in February 2008.

Clara Seah is a 3rd-year Engineer at Jesus College, and got involved in 2009. She is working on the exciting "Urban Water Systems: Challenges of Collaborative Projects" training course.

Andy Pickering was co-president of the branch last year and is now helping out with Training. Andy is a 4th-year Information Engineer at Emmanuel College, and has been involved since 2008. He is lead organiser for the upcoming "EcoSan" training seminar.

Luke Bramwell has just recently got involved in EWB Training. He is a 4th-year Civil Engineer at Emmanuel College, and is currently working on funding and organisation of an "IT in Development" course.
